EYEPORT Online Electrode Inspection System

Overview

EYEPORT is an online optical quality inspection system for battery electrode sheets. It performs 100% inspection during production, detecting and flagging defective material so non-conforming electrodes are identified before downstream processing. It is deployed inline in the Koerber EVIOS battery cell production platform as part of the precise online quality control subsystem and operates in conjunction with stacking equipment to support continuous, inline quality control during electrode handling and assembly. For electrode manufacturing applications, inspection focus areas include coating defects, dimensional deviations, and contamination, with signals provided to the line for automatic flagging of non-conforming material. Key selection and integration parameters to define: - Detectable defect types and minimum defect size - False rejection rate - Line speed compatibility - Data logging and reporting interface - Clean room certification Inline electrode quality assurance on battery manufacturing lines where sheet electrodes are produced and stacked.
