Overview

Handheld current loop calibrator that can source, simulate and measure industrial 4–20 mA and 0–20 mA loops. Current sourcing and simulation ranges: 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA; current measurement range: 0 to 24 mA. Voltage measurement range: 0 to 28 V DC; maximum voltage: 30 V. Accuracy for current sourcing, current simulation, current measurement and voltage measurement: 0.015% Rdg + 2 LSD. Resolution: current 0.001 mA, voltage 1 mV. The unit displays both current and % of span and provides span check plus auto step and auto ramp functions for stepped or swept loop tests. Intended for calibration, verification and troubleshooting of industrial current loops and field transmitters in production or maintenance settings: sourcing or simulating transmitter signals, measuring loop currents, checking transmitter span and performing stepped or ramped response tests.
