TXL series
Megger Group Limited (Megger)
Model Overview & Specs
Overview
The TXL series are extra load units for the TORKEL battery test systems, designed to provide higher load currents for power or current tests. They connect directly to the battery under test and are powered from Mains. When combined with a TORKEL unit, the TXL series can discharge batteries with currents of up to several kA; the discharge process is controlled by the TORKEL unit and the total current is measured using a clamp-on ammeter. There are five models available: TXL830, TXL850, TXL865, TXL870, and TXL890. Use the TXL series together with a TORKEL unit to provide higher load currents for constant current or constant power battery tests. Combined with TORKEL, the TXL units enable battery discharge at currents of up to several kA while the TORKEL unit controls the discharge and measures total current with a clamp-on ammeter.
