nXLi Dry Multistage Roots Pumps

Overview

The nXLi air cooled single phase dry pump range includes models nXL110i and nXL200i. It offers pumping speed options of 110 m3h-1 or 200 m3h-1 in the pressure range of 1 to 10 mbar, and is capable of handling gas loads of up to 25 slm. The pumps are suitable for chambers up to 100 litres and for continuous inlet pressures up to 15 mbar (with occasional pump down). The design features an oil free non contacting pump mechanism, intelligent drive transient overload protection, and control via manual control, simple remote control, or serial communications (RS485 with Modbus command set). The units are compact and quiet, are air cooled, single phase, and are based on Edwards iXL range semiconductor dry pump technology; a brochure (1.4 MB) and a datasheet (445.3 kB) are available. The nXLi range is optimised for LCMS and ICPMS duties and is described as well suited for many high end mass spectrometry applications. The pumps can also be used on chambers up to 100 litres at continuous inlet pressures up to 15 mbar with occasional pump down.
