MULTICUT 400 D is a compact diesel floor cutter / walk-behind saw built on the scissor principle and designed for cutting depths up to 415 mm (standard 315 mm). The machine is driven by a Perkins Diesel 3-cylinder engine with output power max. 18.4 kW / 25 hp and meets emission level stage 5. Saw blade diameter is 800 mm standard and 1000 mm max, with an arbor size of 25.4 mm and rated speeds given as: fresh concrete 3040 1/min. / 2800 1/min.; Ø600-800: 1621 1/min. / 1493 1/min.; Ø800-1000: 1351 1/min. / 1244 1/min. Cutting depth is set electrohydraulic with a depth gauge, and the saw blade is lowered and raised electro-hydraulically with a threaded spindle and cutting depth indicator. Dimensions are 1300/850/1350 mm (L/W/H) and weight is 458 kg. The MULTICUT 400 D is designed for demanding continuous operation in road construction, renovation work and repair work. It is proven for making separating cuts in asphalt and concrete and for powerful floor cutting in fresh concrete. The design supports overcuts for intersections (blade hood front can be raised) and rapid changeover from left to right cutting, facilitating varied cutting tasks on site.
