M-SERIES

Overview

M-SERIES is 2D AUTOMATION described as providing maximum flexibility for job shops and short run production. Systems feature a small footprint and highly customizable configurations and support a wide range of peripheral devices and functions including conveyors, over/under carts and labellers. M-Series systems are available in 3015, 4020 and reverse flow configurations and can be integrated into an AUTOMATED STORAGE/RETRIEVAL System. M-Series automation can be designed to separate parts and automatically load them onto pallets in production environments. Configuration examples: MCS 3015 ONE LASER (LUL); MST 3015 ONE LASER ONE TOWER; MDT 3015 2 LASER 2 TOWERS. It supports small-footprint, highly customizable production configurations. The system can service up to 3 machines and handle maximum sheet sizes of 120" × 60" (3015) or 160" × 80" (4220) with a maximum sheet thickness of 1". Loading is performed with suction cups and unloading with a rake, with load/unload cycle times under 60 seconds for the 3015 (based on one-laser configuration) and under 80 seconds for the 4220 (based on one-laser configuration). The M-Series can connect to an AUTOMATED STORAGE/RETRIEVAL system and can be configured to separate parts and automatically load them onto pallets, with pallet capacities of 6614 lbs (3015) or 11023 lbs (4220).
