The SWECO CD600 decanter centrifuge offers infinite speed adjustability of the main bowl drive and backdrive (differential). Variable frequency drives are used on all motors to allow low amperage start-ups and to eliminate troublesome sheave changes. Stainless steel wetted parts and tungsten carbide hard facing on the bowl and scroll are specified, and the machine features superior gearbox construction for a durable, rugged design. The CD600 is described as having the flexibility to adapt to almost any solids separation application.
