Galvannealing (GA) & Edge Heater by Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic is a modular galvannealing system that uses the latest transistor-based components and offers maximum efficiency. The inductor features a unique design that avoids magnetic field losses and provides highly efficient, uniform heating. The edge heater is adaptable to various strip formats and is installed just prior to the GA heater. Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic supplied the very first induction heating system for galvanneal in 1986, and heating for galvanneal has been used in more than 50 lines worldwide. Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic Corporation Quality Certificate: ISO 9001:2015, valid until December 2028. Designed for strip processing lines for galvanneal heating. Metallurgically, the system provides superior uniformity of the zinc iron alloy, better paint adhesion, and excellent welding characteristics. The edge heater provides an ideal temperature profile to avoid over-thickness of zinc on the strip edges.
