Overview

The sunflower impact dehuller DGBB uses proven technology to dehull sunflower seeds with minimum waste, delivering consistent high-quality hull and kernel separation with throughputs of up to 180 tons per day. It provides Four setpoints to adjust the process for different moisture content values or to meet the requirements of different sunflower seed varieties. A horizontal feeder spreads the seeds uniformly across the complete width of the rotor to ensure consistent product quality. The innovative impact plate design efficiently dehulls seeds while minimizing damaged seeds and reducing undesired fine dust, thereby reducing any oil impregnation effect. Large maintenance doors provide easy access for fast replacement of the rotor, beater plates, and impact plate; the readily accessible feeder allows cleaning of the magnets and adjustment of the feed slide gate, and operators can check product flow through an inspection window. The rugged frame structure is fitted with vibration pads to keep vibrations and noise low, and the durable rotor, beater plates, impact plate, magnets, and seals are subject to very little wear for reliable operation over many years. The machine can be supplied as a single unit or as part of a fully integrated sunflower dehulling solution including the Bühler hull separator, cleaner, flaking, hammer or pellet mills, and conveying systems, and Bühler provides services, training, and access to genuine spare and wear parts.
