Overview

Apex3R Evo CNC Router described as offering high quality at an affordable price, with a number of features standard on the machine that are normally found on more expensive CNC routers. Table sizes are: 53” x 100”, 63” x 121”, 83” x 121" and 135 cm x 254 cm, 160 cm x 307 cm, 210 cm x 307 cm. Power is listed as 5.5  13.4 HP and spindle options are listed separately as 4 HP to 13.3 HP. Cut speed is 1,400 IPM / 35,6 m / min and rapid traverse is 2,500 IPM (63,5 m / min); Z-axis clearance is 6”  8” and repeatability is +/- 0.001” / 0,025 mm. Weight ranges are 3,150 to 4,400 lbs. and 1,428 to 1,995 kg, and the standard work surface is 1” / 2,55 cm Phenolic. The machine uses 25mm linear ball-bearing profile rails and a brushless digital AC servo drive system with a high-speed three axis motion control system. Drive system for X and Y-axis is rack and pinion and drive system for Z-axis is ball screw. Standard features include heavy, all-steel tube frame construction, MultiCam EZ Control user-friendly operator interface, unlimited file size transfer capabilities, and EZ Suite Software. Options explicitly listed include coolant mist systems for non-ferrous metal cutting and vision systems for print registration compensation.
