Overview

450 Civo transfer balancing machine for wound armatures with 5 stations for the efficient balancing of electric armatures. Balancing is performed by milling into the stack of sheets at one or two planes, and the machine is designed for medium and large quantities, up to approx. 2 million electric armatures p.a. The machine has a narrow front silhouette and a small footprint, with overall dimensions (Width, depth, height approx. [mm]) 1800 x 1300 x 2100 and a total weight approx. [kg] 2500. Measures and corrects the unbalance of electric commutator armatures and similar rotors that permit milling correction by milling into the stack of sheets at one or two planes. The machine supports correction for diagonally and straight-grooved armatures, uses single and multiple milling cutters based on pole pitch, and distributes measured unbalance vectorially at corresponding pole pitches. Designed for medium and large production volumes—up to approx. 2 million electric armatures p.a.—it can be integrated with automation and feed equipment and provides loading/unloading either by pallet conveyor or by a manually activated drawer. Operator interaction and process control use the CAB 870 measurement device with touchscreen operation, displaying measurement results as numbers and vector diagrams and offering automatic setting processes, diagnostics programs, and statistical software.
