Overview

The TruTool TKA 1500 is equipped with a 2600 W motor and a nominal power consumption of 2600 W, it has a maximum working speed of 1.5 m/min, a length of 679 mm, a height of 197 mm and a weight of 10 kg. The low guide handle sits nine centimeters from the work surface. Minimum sheet thickness is specified as 3 mm + hs. Maximum chamfer capabilities are specified per material: for steel 400 N/mm² a maximum chamfer length of 15 mm and maximum chamfer height of 10.6 mm; for steel 600 N/mm² a maximum chamfer length of 12 mm and height of 8.5 mm; for steel 800 N/mm² a maximum chamfer length of 10 mm and height of 7.1 mm; for aluminium 250 N/mm² a maximum chamfer length of 15 mm and height of 10.6 mm. The device can produce up to 11 mm chamfer length in one operation, and chamfer lengths from 11 mm to 15 mm require two steps (information for the 230 V motor). Smallest inner radius is 30 mm and the smallest bore hole (Ø) is 55 mm; a product tagline notes suitability for holes from 80 mm. The TruTool TKA 1500 is delivered with a 45° multi-edge cutter mount as standard; standard multi-edge cutters have four cutting edges while radius multi-edge cutters have three cutting edges. The stop prism is made of stainless steel and serves as both run-in aid and chip protection. The TruTool TKA 1500 is used to create clean visible edges, break off sharp edges, add a radius, and prepare a weld seam, delivering burr- and oxide-free surfaces without material change and with constant angle adjustment. It can create chamfer lengths up to 15 mm (with up to 11 mm in one pass and 11–15 mm in two steps for the 230 V motor) and work at a maximum speed of 1.5 m/min. The tool is suitable for straight edges, inner and outer contours, and holes (tagline: for holes from 80 mm), and is specified for T-beam and flat sheet rounds with radii of 2 mm, 3 mm, or 4 mm for deburring and weld seam preparation. The stainless-steel stop prism ensures easy run-in to sheet metal and acts as chip protection so that chips fall to the floor in a controlled manner.
