VB 350 CN and CNS

Overview

VB 350 is a bevelling machine produced in two versions: CN and CNS. The CN model is equipped with a wheel for grinding the front arris, while the CNS version grinds the remaining edge with a pencil edge shape using a peripheral diamond wheel. The VB 350 adopts the technical features used on the top model and operates at a slightly lower working speed while providing very good grinding quality; it is described as reducing investment and operating costs and being easier to use and less demanding in operation. Bavelloni's patented conveyor is equipped with pads in cast-iron without the use of ball bearings. Spindles are separated from the electrical motor by a transmission belt. The machine includes a maintenance free conveyor, a centralized lubrication system, and inlet and outlet arms equipped with individually replaceable rubber pads. The touch screen control panels can automatically perform calculations, report errors, prevent operation with incorrect parameters, display the design of the work to be performed, and provide an extremely precise digital visualization of the spindles absorption. Up to 99 different work configurations can be memorized and simple, double and triple bevels can be automatically set. An exclusive device with extendable pads, automatically activated by the control system, is provided for bevelling very small glass pieces. The VB 350 is presented as a widely used bevelling machine that offers a compromise between level of investment and productivity. It is indicated for situations where high productivity rates are not essential but where very good grinding quality is required. Model variants support specific edge-processing use cases: the CN model grinds the front arris, and the CNS model produces a pencil edge shape with a peripheral diamond wheel. The control system can store up to 99 work configurations and automatically set simple, double and triple bevels, and an extendable-pad device is available for bevelling very small glass pieces.
