Model Overview & Specs

Overview

The MiniSeries and MicroSeries are laboratory mills designed for product development and production of smallest batches, featuring an improved centrifugal separation system (Zeta®) that enables use of very small grinding media and wet grinding to the nanometer range. The MiniSeries are compact laboratory circulation mills with easy handling and a processing volume of 0.25 to 0.5 l for product sizes down to the nanometer range. MiniSeries material designs: MiniCer®, MiniPur and MiniFer. MiniCer® and MiniPur enable metal-free fine grinding; all MiniCer® grinding chamber parts are of wear resistant NETZSCH-Ceram Z or NETZSCH Ceram_C/NETZSCH-Ceram N and MiniPur uses NElast. MiniFer has all grinding chamber parts of stainless steel and supports continuous pass, circulation and enclosed discontinuous batch operation. Technical features (MiniSeries) include the Zeta® grinding system with improved centrifugal separation, a swiveling grinding tank, a double acting mechanical seal with flushing water unit and safety switch, an electrical drive via frequency inverter 600 to 4200 rpm, and a hose pump with infinitely adjustable speed and feeding quantity 1.3 to 133 l/h; MiniSeries machines can be changed over to the smaller volume of the MicroSeries. MiniPur and MiniCer® offer a coolable product tank (MiniPur) and a coolable grinding chamber (MiniCer®) and accept grinding media from 0.05 to 2 mm; MiniFer uses laser-cut separation screens in different gap widths enabling grinding media in a diameter range of 0.05 to 2 mm. The MicroSeries provides finest wet grinding technology and is available as MicroFer (stainless steel), MicroCer® (NETZSCH-Ceram Z or NETZSCH Ceram_C/NETZSCH-Ceram N for solvent-based products) and MicroPur (NElast design for water-based products). MicroSeries machines feature the Zeta® grinding system, are suitable for continuous pass and circulation operation with MicroCer® and MicroFer also operable in an enclosed batch mode, use grinding media from 0.05 - 0.8 mm for grinding down to the nanometer range, minimize product loss at minimal product use, and are convertible to the bigger volume of the MiniSeries. These laboratory mills are intended for product development and production of smallest batches where wet grinding and dispersing to the nanometer range is required. The MiniPur and MiniCer® specifically support metal-free fine grinding of smallest batch sizes. Explicit application areas listed include Nano Applications, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Cosmetics / Personal Hygiene, Paint, Digital Inks & 3D Printing, Printing Inks, Agrochemistry, Ceramics, Pigments / Dyes and Industrial Minerals.
