Overview
The IR-WELDING SYSTEM uses medium-wave infrared rays aligned horizontally for welding particle foam components. The emitters have fast response and are controlled digitally, contributing to an extremely energy-efficient process. Depending on the application, area-following or contour-following emitters are employed. Each infrared welding system is designed according to customer-specific requirements, and the resulting technical data are defined in collaboration with the customer. The system is used for welding particle foam components with medium-wave infrared radiation aligned horizontally. Emitter type—area-following or contour-following—is selected according to the specific application. Systems are configured and technically specified in cooperation with the customer to meet the required welding needs.
