M65

Overview

M65 is presented as a multifunctional MILLTURN turning-boring-milling centre with the possibility of freely interpolating the NC axes B, C, X, Y and Z. The machine supports complete machining without manual intervention and includes an integrated turning-boring-milling unit with measuring probe and compensation of thermal influences. The prismatic tool interface allows use of oversized tools and robust prismatic tool holders, and two types of magazine are available for automatic handling of heavy internal machining tools; additional magazine and tool changer variants for prismatic and long tools are described. It performs turning, drilling, milling, deep hole drilling, internal and external gear cutting, turn-milling and circular milling, and supports automatic workpiece measurement to enable compliance with tight tolerances. The ability to freely interpolate NC axes B, C, X, Y and Z and the described tooling and magazine options enable efficient machining of complex geometric profiles.
