Overview
The VacuPrep™ Epoxy Impregnation System includes a through-port for optional epoxy fill under vacuum and a cup holder for mixed epoxy. It has a clear top that allows sample viewing during the process and pulls up to 28 inHg vacuum. The unit features a large 10" x 4.5" (254 x 114 mm) deep chamber that holds up to (30) 1.25" (32 mm) cups, and stainless steel components resist corrosive gases. It operates quietly without a pump and uses compressed air at 80 psi (5.5 bar); overall dimensions are 13" W x 18" D x 6" H (330 x 457 x 152 mm) and weight is 21 lb. (9.5 kg). The product is designed & manufactured by Allied in the USA and carries a Two (2) Year warranty. The VacuPrep™ is used for epoxy impregnation of samples, supporting epoxy fill under vacuum via its through-port while permitting visual monitoring through the clear top.
