The machine features a non-wearing Z axis due to quills with hydrostatic support, a grooving and boring slide, INDEX quick clamping system with W-serration for quick tool setup, and up to 6 tools for rear end machining per swiveling synchronous spindle. Controls: Siemens S840D sl with Multi-Touch Screen: 18.5" and the iXpanel operating system (i4.0 ready) included.
