Overview

Horizontal heat treatment lines tailored for aluminum plates or profiles that meet AMS 2750 E and AMS 2772 C for the heat treatment of aluminum alloys, designed to address customer expectations for high product quality while prioritizing reduced emissions and energy consumption. Key components include loading and unloading roller tables dimensioned based on minimum and maximum plate sizes, with powered conveying rollers that ensure proper spacing and synchronism. The furnace section provides rapid and uniform heating through optimized flow management and separately adjustable top and bottom heating power; the modular structure allows electrically heated or indirectly gas-fired furnaces with minimal component changes and includes oscillation during the heating cycle. Quench and aftercooling features include stepless adjustments of conveying speed, an optimized nozzle spray pattern for on-the-run plate quenching, integration of hard and soft quench within the same enclosure, customizable cooling rates, and immersion pumps designed for easy maintenance; a dryer removes water from the plate surface by air wipers and an integrated dryer. The system supports damage- and scratch-free transport of panels/profiles, automatic operation, individually controlled zones and reversible recirculation fans for temperature uniformity, and loading options including charging machines or bogies.
