IS1-2 interface selector

Overview

The IS1-2 interface selector is a fully automatic system for use on CMM installations requiring multiple sensor types and provides Four separate output channels; it is available as a stand-alone or rack mountable interface. It can integrate any combination of the following Renishaw probes into one automated system: SP25M, SP80, SP600, TP7M, TP2, TP6, TP20 and TP200*. SP25M is a 25 mm diameter scanning probe with scanning and touch-trigger modules; SP80 is a quill-mounted scanning probe providing class-leading performance with long styli; SP600 is high-performance inspection, digitising and profile scanning; TP7M is a strain-gauge probe with autojoint mounting; TP2 is a small, light, versatile probe; TP6(A) are robust kinematic probes with M8 and autojoint mounting options; TP20 is a compact kinematic probe with module changing; TP200* is a compact strain-gauge probe with module changing. The IS1-2 is fully compatible with Renishaw's ACR1 and ACR3 probe exchange systems, the PH10M PLUS range of motorised heads and the PHS-2 motorised servo head system using the Renishaw product interconnection system (PICS). TP7M, SP600M, SP80 and SP25M programming modules are supplied pre-installed within the IS1-2 unit and identify the probe in use, while remaining modules are supplied loose and can be installed by the user; TP2, TP6, TP20 and TP200 have an integral identification system and therefore do not require a module. An extended 3-year warranty is available for new CMM products during the first 3 months from purchase.
