TPA800/4 HP

Overview

The TPA800/4 HP axial powder press provides a pressing force of 8000 kN and is supplied as a version with four columns. Key motion and accuracy data: upper punch stroke 350 mm, filling height 250 mm, core rod travel 20 mm, and positioning accuracy +/- 0.01 mm. Design features include high mechanical and hydraulic rigidity, a rigid machine frame, central support of all platens in pressing position, and central force flow. Control, tooling and auxiliary features listed include adjustable positive stops in pressing position, a closed-loop controlled filler axis and closed-loop controlled core rod, up to 4 upper and 4 lower tool levels, a 6-axis robot, automatically interchangeable die sets for short set-up times, low energy consumption, compatibility with DORST IoT Solutions, Netshape® technology, and use of helical gear modules; the technical data sheet status is 05/2026. Supported processes and technologies explicitly listed are the withdrawal process, multi-level press operation, and the use of an interchangeable die set system. Process control support is provided by the Intelligent Program Generator IPG® to support the powder pressing process and by inline process control by means of height measurement.
