Overview

SV4000 Saybolt Viscosity Bath for Automatic Viscosity Timing is offered as model K21414 (115V 60Hz) and K21424 (220-240V 50/60Hz) for viscosity determinations using Saybolt viscometer tubes and orifices. Microprocessor control provides temperature regulation between ambient and 464 °F (240 °C), with dual digital displays showing setpoint and actual temperature and a selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit scale. The automatic timing option starts sample flow, senses the 60mL end point and digitally records efflux time with 0.1 seconds resolution and 0.05% accuracy; timer installation is available in any configuration from 1 to 4 positions. The bath has a four viscometer tube capacity and conforms to ASTM D88, D244, E102, AASHTO T72 and FTM 791-304.
