R3K-TW

Overview

R3K-TW is a special version of the horizontal balancing machine R3K-G, suitable for the balancing of railway wheels mounted on their axle. The machine is equipped with the high-sensitivity touchscreen monitor EQ21S-TS and can be fitted with mesh safety guards or telescopic tunnel-type guards for operator protection. It is based on a standard machine fitted with an automatic loading system that allows receiving the axle directly from the tracks. Optional accessories and features support related operations: printer to generate balancing certificates; angular position indication useful in machines with belt drive; brake locking to assist in correcting imbalance; rotor standard according to ISO2953 and test masses for machine verification; additional bed for very long rotors; counter support for balancing cantilevered rotors; special rollers for axle diameters outside standard values; special cradle supports for balancing rotors in their own bearings; and automatic angular positioning.
