TANDO 700

Overview

TANDO 700 is a portable system for high-precision measurement of dissipation/power factor (Tan Delta) and capacitance for high-voltage laboratory tests, including routine and type tests on various electrical assets. It also measures power, current, voltage, impedance and frequency. The instrument can directly measure currents in a dynamic range from 5 µA to 1 A, and the input range can be extended up to 28 A by adding optional external shunts. Typical high measurement accuracy is <5E-6. TANDO 700 measures both ungrounded and grounded test objects since it can be operated on high-voltage potential and is compatible with any type of reference capacitor; it requires a separate voltage source for performing measurements. The system includes powerful internal batteries for long, uninterrupted measurement sessions, fiber optic connections for enhanced safety in high-voltage areas, automatic hardware recognition in the software, real-time data display with trend visualization and customizable reporting, galvanic isolation for safety, a compact design for transport, and the ability to perform simultaneous partial discharge measurement and analysis with the MPD 600.
