Overview

The M-710 _i_ C/50 is a 6-axis robot with a Max Payload of 50 kg, Reach of 2050 mm and Repeatability of ± 0.03 mm. Mounting Method: Floor / Upside Down / Angle. The robot features a slim wrist, rigid arm and small footprint and delivers very high axis speeds and a large working envelope. A smart wrist design places motors and electrical elements normally situated at the wrist on the robot's J3 'shoulder', and the model provides large allowable axis inertias. A secondary food-grade version uses food grade grease for wrists and an epoxy-coated white body. Documented applications include Assembly, Arc Welding, Spot Welding, Pick/Pack/Palletizing, Material Handling, Material Removal and Dispensing. The series is described as suitable for robotic machine tending as well as grinding, polishing, deburring, water jet cutting and washing applications. High axis speeds and a big envelope enable extremely fast handling of larger or heavier workpieces, pallet stacking, and handling large workpieces such as sheets of glass and steel panels, and the food-grade version is noted for secondary food handling and processing tasks such as tray picking, handling and transfer.
