Overview

MEP-HS is a semi-automated system tailored for mid to high-volume processing of compliant pin over-molded housings or modules, typically used in automotive. Maximum PCB/Housing Size 150mm X 150mm. Opening 56 CM x 61 CM deep (22″ x 24″). PCB 46 CM x 61 CM (18″ x 24″). Flat rock press head 203 MM x 38 MM (8″ x 1.5″). 16″ maximum tool length. All electric press, hi-frame design with full force available throughout travel and a Teflon Hard Coat aluminum table. Windows PC control with touchscreen monitor, keyboard, and mouse is provided. Press can operate to force or height with error detection and supports dynamic force adjustment using PAST, PAR or FAT. Machine Vision provides bar code reading and PCB locating and the system includes fully automatic setup and board thickness measurement. Power is 110 or 220 VAC 1 phase, 15 Amps, 50/60 Hz; air 80 psi for air table only; weight 350 lbs. approx.
