Universal Infrared Gas Analyzer IR200

Overview

Universal Infrared Gas Analyzer IR200 is an infrared gas analyzer model marketed by Yokogawa (page located on yokogawa.com) and listed on the site under discontinued solutions. The product name identifies it as an infrared-based gas analyzer (IR), model designation IR200 and described as "Universal," indicating a general-purpose infrared analyzer platform. As an infrared gas analyzer, the IR200 is intended to detect and quantify gases that absorb in the infrared spectrum using infrared sensing techniques. The listing on the manufacturer site categorizes it as an industrial gas-analysis product; specific numeric specifications, utility requirements, control interfaces, and enclosure/footprint details are not included on the referenced page. The IR200 is oriented to industrial gas analysis applications where infrared sensing is appropriate, such as process monitoring, combustion control and emissions measurement in manufacturing and industrial facilities. Its "Universal" naming implies use as a general-purpose analyzer capable of addressing multiple infrared-active gaseous species across process, environmental monitoring and laboratory settings. Because the product is shown on the manufacturer's discontinued pages, procurement decisions should account for lifecycle, spare-parts and service availability; users replacing or specifying gas-analysis equipment can consider the IR200 only where legacy compatibility or aftermarket support is acceptable.
