Compacting Table

Overview

The Ondarlan Compacting Table is a robust, custom-built solution designed for continuous 24-hour operation. It is manufactured locally, offers a short-term return on investment, and is supported by readily available original spare parts and dedicated technical assistance. The table uses multiple rolls to move boxes along the surface; when a box is positioned the operator presses a pedal and four compressed-air elevators lift the frame so the box does not touch the rolls and cannot move. When the frame reaches the limit switch, two motors start vibrating until the compacting is complete; releasing the pedal lowers the frame, stops the motors, and returns the box to contact with the rolls for removal. Operators position a box on the rolls, press the pedal to lift the frame with four compressed-air elevators, wait for the two vibrating motors to finish compacting when the frame reaches the limit switch, then lower the frame to remove the compacted box.
