Overview
The SFX12 and SFX16 have been discontinued. They are cable test and fault location systems rated 12 kV, 1100 J and 16 kV, 2000 J. The units provide safe and fast fault location using Teleflex SX technology and include various fault location methods. High surge energy is provided for effective pinpoint locating. The Surgeflex unit is described as a mobile system for testing and fault locating on low and medium voltage cables. The powerful ARM® (Arc Reflection Method) is used to pre-locate high resistance faults and conditioning faults is possible by burning. Technical specifications list Power source: Mains and Test type: Portable cable fault location. Portable testing and fault locating on low and medium voltage cables is an explicit use case.
