FM-2000-CL

Overview

FM-2000-CL is designed to remove the risers from aluminium alloy wheels having different diameter. The machine has a steel welded base frame designed to allow the chips to fall in the conveyor belt underneath and holds a stage to lean the wheel during the drilling operation. A sturdy steel column, duly reinforced, features sliding guides that hold the iron head supporting carrier; the sub-assembly is sized to eliminate the vibrations when drilling. The drilling head is controlled by an axis card for speed and position and is fitted with a 22 kW variable speed motor. The spindle is fitted with an ISO 50 fixing attachment, is equipped with a spindle adapter, and includes the minimal inner coolant flow. The head supports a hydraulically actuated plate used to clamp the work piece along the outer edge during the process; when the plate arrives in position it contacts the front wheel, which has been centred previously by a mechanic/hydraulic, and wheel blocking is executed. An electronic system permits execution of the drilling. Integrant part of the machine: - Centring system integrated into the central machine main table - Automatic linear load system - Chips conveyor complete with a basin for collecting the coolant - Coolant and micro-lubricating system for the tool (SKF brand) - Automatic box for the slides lubrication - Hydraulic command box that is near the basement - Electric box which is a cabinet with an hermetic seal located outside the machine - A big dimension push-button for the various movements The FM-2000-CL is used to remove risers from aluminium alloy wheels having different diameter by executing programmed drilling operations. The drilling head control via an axis card allows changing the drilling start and finish dimensions from the controller and recalling specific work piece programs when previously set. Hydraulically actuated edge clamping combined with the integrated centring system enables the machine to block the wheel for the drilling process, while the chips conveyor, basin for collecting coolant, and the coolant and micro-lubricating system (SKF) support the drilling and tooling requirements.
