Overview

Standardised transformer for worldwide use for spot welding, manufactured by NIMAK and approved by the premium OEMs of the automotive industry. Before delivery each transformer undergoes a 100 per cent quality check and is available with UL certification on request. Primary voltage options are 530 V | 635 V | 915 V with a transformation ratio ü = N1/N2 of 55 | 66 | 95 and primary current duration of 118 A | 99 A | 68 A. Frequency range is 1000-1800 HZ. Rated power figures: S20 Average rated power 20% duty cycle 169 kVA with input apparente power at 20% duty cycle 141 kVA and secondary rated power at 20% duty cycle 130 kVA; S50 Average rated power 50% duty cycle 107 kVA with primary rated power at 50% duty cycle 89 kVA and secondary rated power at 50% duty cycle 82 kVA; S100 Average rated power 100% duty cycle 76 kVA with primary continuous power at 100% ED S1P 63 kVA and secondary continous power at 100% ED S1P 58 kVA. Secondary open-circuit voltage U2d is 8,9 V and continuous direct current ld is 6,5 kA. The transformer has a low weight of less than 16 kg, higher efficiency compared to competitor products, an expected service life of < 15 million cycles, and is offered in two designs with diode packages Standard = 22 kA and special version = 30 kA heavy duty package; corresponding aluminium transformers are being developed based on this. Intended for all steel applications in manual welding guns, robot welding guns, spot welding machines, projection welding machines and special welding machines.
