Overview

The LW127.123-500 is the largest of the current family of Labworks vibration test systems and features a large 6 inch diameter armature table. Its high lateral stiffness carbon composite armature suspension reduces problems associated with off-center loads and allows unsupported horizontal operation with many loads. The ET-127-500 is equipped with a degauss coil to ensure low stray magnetic field for sensitive applications. Sine force is 500 lbs force pk, random force is 350 lbf rms, and shock force is 1,000 lbf pk shock, with a frequency range of DC to 4,500 Hz. Maximum acceleration is 100 g pk, bare table; 50 g pk, 5 lb. load; and 11 g pk, 40 lb. load, and maximum displacement is 1.0 inch pk-pk, bare table. The PA-123 amplifier is modular and air cooled and is direct coupled to the shaker to provide performance at low and high frequencies; cooling is specified as Amplifier: forced air and Shaker: cooling vacuum. Power requirements are 5.200 VA @ 100*, 110*, 200, 208-230V, single phase 50/60 Hz. System components include ET-127 Electrodynamic Shaker w/De-Gauss Coil, PA-123-3/2-500 Amplifier (Degauss & Field Supply), CB-127 Cooling Vacuum, Amplifier Cabinet, and interconnect cables and hoses; optional items listed include DB-127 DuoBase, VL-144/VL-145 Vibration Controller, SC-121 Sine Servo Controller, SG-135 Manual Sine Controller, CS-123 Current Source Signal Conditioner, and LS-127 Armature Load Support/AI-127 Base Isolation. The LW127.123-500 is described as a general-purpose vibration test system that adapts to almost any test requirement with a minimum of fixturing. Its suspension allows unsupported horizontal operation with many loads, and the degauss coil is provided to ensure low stray magnetic field for sensitive applications. An oil film slip table base is available for testing larger and heavier loads or loads with high centers of gravity.
