Stator Winders

Overview

Itasca has been manufacturing stator winders for over 20 years. They are offered in configurations from a semi auto stand alone machine for low volume use to a multi spindle automatic machine and are fully programmable using a PC based control system performing complex programming requirements. The control allows you to change the pitch, traverse length, Tension and rpm at any turn count within the wind command. Product features and options include: - Single or Dual Head Machines - 35 to 15 Awg Wire Sizes - Flyer Head speed up to 2,500 RPM - Two to Seven programmable Axis - Programmable Electronic Tension - Amount of Poles is programmable - 3 inch to 18 inch outside diameter - Manual or Shuttle load - Shuttle Load, single or dual spindles, Inline Wire Strippers, and Cutters Available configurations explicitly include a semi auto stand alone machine for low volume use and multi spindle automatic machines for higher automation. The machines are intended for stator winding tasks using wire sizes from 35 to 15 Awg, with flyer head speeds up to 2,500 RPM and outside diameters from 3 inch to 18 inch. Manual or shuttle loading and single or dual head/spindle arrangements are supported.
