Overview

SE2200LC is offered as part of the SE2200LC | SE2200LMC CNC lathe series and features a 30° slanted one-piece bed structure with high rigidity and Roller guideway on all axes. X/Z-axis rapid travel is 30/36m/min and the machine uses the latest FANUC controller; the lineup includes long-bed, mill turret and sub-spindle variants and a compact internal-motor design for the standard-type bed. The design applied structural analysis to increase the tool post body, reduce machine height, and maintain the bed's dynamic rigidity during high-speed machining. The 6" main spindle is equipped with two- and three-row ball bearings front and rear for high-speed machining, while the 8" and 10" main spindles combine double-row roller bearings and angular contact bearings for heavy-duty cutting. A Ribstar belt is applied to minimize belt slip and noise and a maze shaft structure is used to reduce bearing damage from coolant and improve machining stability. C-Axis control is specified to 0.001° and an "S" type belt-type sub spindle is provided; the integrated S-type secondary shaft has a 10"/152.4mm universal. Additional machine features include a hydraulically operated mobile doll with numerical position control (for standard "L" type lathes), a servo turret driven by a high-performance AC servo motor with 3-piece coupling and powerful hydraulic tool clamping, TBMT45 (BMT) turret tool mounting secured by four bolts and key, straight and angular milling tool holders, turret provision for 70bar high pressure coolant, Automatic Q-Setter tool calibration, linear optical rulers, and FANUC intelligent functions such as Smart Adaptive Control and Intelligent Machining Point Control. The SE2200 series is described as specialized in high-speed and rough cutting, with the 6" spindle targeted at high-speed machining and the 8"/10" spindle configurations designed for heavy-duty cutting. The Ribstar belt and spindle bearing arrangements support both high-speed stability and heavy cutting performance. C-Axis control to 0.001° enables processing of various shapes, the belt-type sub spindle synchronizes with the main spindle to transfer the workpiece for back-side machining, and the mill turret plus straight and angular milling tool holders expand capability for milling operations; turret use of 70bar high pressure coolant is specified for machining difficult-to-cut material.
