Overview

The Diamond wire saw DWS.175 is a table saw in vertical design constructed from stainless steel and anodized aluminum. The maximum workpiece cutting area is 175 x 175 mm and the maximum sample weight is 15 kg. Recommended diamond wire thickness is 0.15 to 0.50 mm; standard wire length is 30 m and drum diameter is 175 mm; wire speed is continuously adjustable from 0 to 4 m/s. Engine power is 120 Watt with power supply 100-240 V / 50-60 Hz; saw dimensions are H 770 x L 570 x B 350 mm and saw weight is 65 kg. The saw has an operator-guided color touch panel in DE-EN-FR-ES-JP-CN with deactivatable security code protection, built-in sensors for end of cut, open hood and wire breakage, mechanical water swirling wire cleaning (alternatively dry or air jet), and separation by diamond wire cut with constant gravity-fed cutting pressure. The DWS.175 performs separation by diamond wire cut with a constant gravity feed and supports both wet and dry cutting at adjustable wire speeds from 0 to 4 m/s. Workpieces are fixed on the saw's slot table using a range of clamping devices; accessories included with the saw are Diamond wire 120 m, a tool set, a replacement guide roller and a manual. Optional accessories extend handling and precision functions: the DE.100 rotary unit clamps workpieces in a four-jaw chuck, rotates them and can be adjusted in X by 100 mm with 0.01 mm accuracy for diameters 5 to 120 mm; the SE.100 clamping unit provides 100 mm X feed with 0.01 mm accuracy; the MS.170 machine vice offers a maximum clamping travel of 170 mm and the SB.60 clamping block set can hold parts up to 110 x 110 mm.
