ACQ580 UL Type 4X

Overview

ACQ580 UL Type 4X (ACQ580-01), 1 to 30 HP, is an UL Type 4X / IP66 rated drive designed for outdoor and harsh environments. The drive is fully sealed for operation in rain, heat, cold, salt spray and dust and offers corrosion resistance to biocides, ammonia and chlorine. The enclosure is UV-resistant and an optional sun shield is available for prolonged sunlight exposure. ACQ580 includes water-specific software with standard water primary settings and dedicated pump/blower features such as cavitation control, pump clean, soft pipe fill and multi-pump control, and it uses a water-dedicated control panel. An optional fused UL98 disconnect is available to simplify installation by eliminating the need for branch circuit fuses while maintaining 100 kA SCCR, and the integrated outdoor-rated design supports mounting the drive close to the application to reduce installation costs and minimize downtime. The ACQ580 UL Type 4X is designed for use in water and wastewater facilities and for areas with water, chemical and outdoor exposure. Typical applications listed for the drive include Clarifiers, Surface aerators, Rakes/Screens, Flocculators, Dosing, Activated sludge (RAS/WAS pumps), Lift Stations/Wells and Booster Stations.
