Overview

Comex LSX-400 laboratory scanner/sorter is an LSX-400 series XRT laboratory scanning system designed to provide a wide range of test possibilities to characterise and separate different materials. The system uses XRT and XRF technology combined with Comex analysis software to perform a wide range of analyses tests of minerals. Installed software enables analysis directly on the LSX-400 or sending information to an operator laptop, and installed analysis configurations enable carrying out multiple analyses. An automated handling system for analysed materials is included and is described as allowing full safety operation with 100% operator protection. Information from analyses performed on the LSX-400 can be used for industrial scale sorting systems. Perform analyses tests of minerals using combined XRT and XRF technology with Comex analysis software to characterise and separate different materials. Use scan results generated on the LSX-400—either analysed on the unit or sent to an operator laptop—for application in industrial scale sorting systems.
