Overview
Itasca has been manufacturing roto winders for over 20 years and offers rotor winders in configurations from a semi auto stand alone machine for low volume use to an automatic machine. The rotor winders are fully programmable utilizing a PC based control system performing the most complex programming requirements. They are available to wind up to 12 awg wire and support 35 to 12 Awg wire sizes, with flyer head speed up to 1,500 RPM and 3 inch to 18 inch outside diameter. The winders are capable to wind both straight and skew lamination stacks and allow you to change the pitch, traverse length, Tension, and rpm at any turn count within the wind command. Options and configurable features include: - Index Load - 2 6 7 programmable axis - Programmable Electronic Tension - Cutters - 2-8 Pole Configurations - Single Head Machines - Manual or Shuttle load A semi auto stand alone machine configuration is provided for low volume use, while automatic machine configurations are available for higher automation needs. The equipment is used to wind wire up to 12 awg and to produce both straight and skew lamination stacks, with the ability to change pitch, traverse length, Tension, and rpm at any turn count during a wind command.
