GD Series Variable-Speed Tumbler

Overview

GD series variable-speed barrel plating machine. Barrel plating is described as placing a certain quantity of small parts in a dedicated plating barrel; in a tumbling state and by indirect conduction, various metal or alloy coatings are deposited on part surfaces to achieve surface protection, decoration or functional purposes. The GD series offers multiple gear speed options to adapt to different parts and finishing needs, a small footprint and light weight suitable for placement on small benches or large benches, and the ability to combine multiple units into a small production line for low investment and fast commissioning. Barrel-wall opening shapes available include rectangular, strip, mesh and circular options. Two barrel opening methods are described: a cover-type with a sealing rubber strip that resists jamming and resists acid, alkali and high temperature; and an insert-plate type whose cover and barrel body fit tightly to avoid jamming, shorten part in/out time, simplify structure and reduce repair rate. Barrel materials specified include PP (polypropylene), PC (polycarbonate) and PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate). The input lists PP as lightweight, resistant to aging, heat and abrasion and suitable for higher-temperature finishing; and transparent PC as easy to observe, impact resistant, high temperature resistant and not easily deformed. Model-specific parameters provided are: - GD-1: load 1 kg; barrel size 170x90 mm; rotation speeds 7.11.15.25 r/min; barrel material PC; other material PMMA; external dimensions 300x170x460 mm (length x width x height). - GD-2.5: load 2.5 kg; barrel size 280x120 mm; rotation speeds 7.11.15 r/min; barrel material PP; other material PP; external dimensions 410x245x640 mm. - GD-5: load 5 kg; barrel size 280x170 mm; rotation speeds 7.11.15 r/min; barrel material PP; other material PP; external dimensions 410x245x640 mm. - GD-10: load 10 kg; barrel size 380x240 mm; rotation speeds 7.11.15 r/min; barrel material PP; other material PP; external dimensions 500x300x690 mm. Explicit uses listed for the GD series are: (1) for barrel plating of small parts such as tin, iron and copper parts; (2) for production barrel plating in industries including radio equipment, instruments, meters, clocks and pen hardware; (3) for laboratory barrel-plating tests, new-process research and college/university student teaching.
