7050LP Low Pressure Indicator

Overview

The 7050LP Low Pressure Indicator is a bench/bench-rack instrument configured for low-pressure ranges: 10/30 inH2O (25/75 mbar), 20/60 inH2O (50/150 mbar) and 35/100 inH2O (87/250 mbar). Precision is specified as 0.005% reading from 10% to 100% of maximum FS and 0.005% of 10% maximum FS below 10% of maximum FS; stability is 0.0075% of reading per year. For the 10/30 inH2O model the RSS specification is 0.005% and 0.0075% of reading per year down to 10% of maximum FS, and below 10% RSS: 0.00015 inH2O (0.000375 mbar) plus 0.0075% of reading per year. Negative gauge precision, when selected, is the same as the corresponding gauge pressure. Intended for calibration laboratories and production test/inspection where repeatable, high-resolution low-pressure measurement is required; display resolution is user selectable to 1:1,000,000 to support high-precision comparisons. The unit accepts nitrogen or clean dry air as the pressure medium and provides a 1/4 in NPT female test port for device under test connections. Optional configurations enable absolute operation using a barometric reference sensor (ranges from 15 to 1500 psig / 1.0 to 100 barg) or absolute using a vacuum reference (ranges 5 to 1500 psig / 400 mbar to 100 barg), and a negative-gauge-only option for specialized low-absolute or vacuum measurements, allowing the same instrument family to serve both low-pressure and wider-range calibration tasks. Integration into automated calibration rigs and production controls is supported via RS232 and IEEE-488 with SCPI syntax; MET/CAL, LabView drivers and a rack mount kit are available to fit laboratory and rack-mounted test systems. Environmental and operational constraints relevant to deployment include operating temperature 64°F to 96°F (18°C to 36°C), storage -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C), humidity 5% to 95% relative humidity non-condensing, 2 to 3 hours warm-up (may be left on indefinitely), power 90 to 260 VAC 50/60 Hz 150W, and an ISO-17025 accredited calibration is provided for traceability.
