Bran finisher MKLA

Overview

The Bran finisher MKLA increases flour yields during the milling process by removing flour from bran and by separating flour particles sticking to the bran. It is used for common wheat, durum and rye. Throughput is up to 1.8 tons per hour, or 3.6 tons per hour if you use the double machine. The MKLA comes in three different models, allowing selection of screen size and throughput capacity. The machine uses slanted beater strips to give the incoming stream of grain an extra axial motion to remove flour, and the shape of the screen makes it vibrate to keep the screen perforations clear. It has a wide door for easier maintenance and screen changes. The bran finisher comes with standard wooden screen frames and offers optional stainless steel screen frames for added hygienization and food safety; it can be used as a bran finisher or for pre-extraction at a mill. The Bran finisher MKLA is used in milling operations to increase the yield of high-quality flour by removing flour adhering to bran. It can also be used for pre-extraction at a mill. The unit is suitable for processing common wheat, durum and rye at up to 1.8 tons per hour, or 3.6 tons per hour when configured as a double machine, and is available in three models to match required screen size and throughput with screen-frame options for standard or enhanced hygienization.
