Ultra® XP1 Paint Booth

Overview

Ultra® XP1 Paint Booth, downdraft configuration, offered in two length variants: 27' Downdraft and 30' Downdraft. Both variants use the GUL2000 heat system. Internal clearances are 14′ (W) x 9′ (H) with length of either 27′ or 30′ depending on variant. External overall footprints are 14′ 5″ x 11′ x 27′ 5″ (27' Downdraft) and 14′ 5″ x 11′ x 30′ 5″ (30' Downdraft). Dual-row pit lengths are 24′ for the 27' Downdraft and 27′ for the 30' Downdraft, matching the longer internal length on the 30' model. Lighting is provided by 6-tube fixtures: ceiling fixtures are 8 (27' model) or 10 (30' model); sidewall fixtures are 6 (27' model) or 8 (30' model). Designed for industrial liquid paint application in automotive and related vehicle/large-assembly finishing contexts where a downdraft booth is required. The 14′ x 9′ internal envelope accommodates typical passenger vehicles, light trucks or similarly sized assemblies, with the 30′ variant providing additional length for longer vehicles or fixtures and increased fixture/worker throughput. The integrated GUL2000 heat system supports heated downdraft operation for temperature control during application and cure cycles. Bright, distributed illumination from multiple 6-tube ceiling and sidewall fixtures enables color matching and visual inspection during coating operations. Configuration choice (27′ vs 30′) should be driven by maximum workpiece length and required pit/runway length for underbody access or airflow management.
