E1709A Remote High Performance Receiver

Overview

The Keysight E1709A Remote High Performance Receiver is for use in demanding applications requiring sub-nanometer measurement resolution of systems in motion. It has 0.2 µW sensitivity and up to 11 times the sensitivity of its predecessor, the Keysight E1708A, enabling more than double the number of axes per application and more axes per laser head than other Keysight receivers. The receiver offers more than double the bandwidth of the E1708A and a slew rate capability of 2 meter/s, providing accurate displacement measurements up to 2 m/s with linear optics and up to 1 m/s with plane mirror optics. Errors are limited to ±1LSB over the entire frequency range and up to a 25:1 amplitude range; the receiver minimizes phase processing errors caused by changing measurement signal frequency and provides immunity to errors induced by changes in measurement signal power from small pitch, roll and yaw movements during stage motion. Intended for measurement of systems in motion that require sub-nanometer resolution. Supports higher stage speeds and multi-axis measurement configurations, with accurate displacement measurements up to 2 m/s with linear optics and up to 1 m/s with plane mirror optics, and increased axes per laser head for expanded axis count. Provides stable measurements during motion by limiting errors to ±1LSB across the frequency range and up to a 25:1 amplitude range, while minimizing phase processing errors and offering immunity to power-related errors from small pitch, roll and yaw movements.
