HT1600 High-Temperature Option

Overview

The HT1600 High-Temperature Option adds extreme-temperature testing to GrindoSonic solutions and measures elastic properties at temperatures up to 1600b0C. The HT1600 is used for refractories (furnace linings, crucibles, kiln furniture), advanced ceramics (silicon carbide, silicon nitride, UHTC materials), thermal barriers (aerospace coatings, turbine components), and novel high-temperature research materials. It enables testing from room temperature up to 1600b0C to characterize material behavior under extreme temperatures and to monitor property changes during thermal cycles to identify phase transitions and degradation.
