LMR-X Dense Phase Rotary Valve

Overview

LMR-X Dense Phase Rotary Valve is a dense phase rotary valve system designed to achieve high conveying capacities, even at long distances. The rotary valve can withstand 3.5 bar(g) [51 psi(g)] while minimizing leakage and operates with the Coperion LMR-X air control unit. It is suitable for coarse granular or pellet size, friable or temperature sensitive materials at various rates and/or long distances. Key features and options: - Laval nozzle with variable effective cross section due to adjustable conical needle - Shut off function included - Activation by linear I/P positioner with 4 - 20 mA - Compressor or net version available - Options: Contact manometer, pressure transmitter, safety valve, version for use in ex-zones (ATEX) The LMR-X air control unit is used to vary compressed air pressure and flow to achieve all phases of conveying. The unit includes a pressure relief valve for system protection and an assortment of instruments for optimizing performance, and it provides adjustment of air flow rate and pressure to suit different pipe diameters, conveying capacities, conveying routes and various materials within the same conveying system.
