ECOIL STATIONARY TRANSFORMER OIL REGENERATION ( MODEL ECOIL SRS)

Overview

ECOIL STATIONARY TRANSFORMER OIL REGENERATION (MODEL ECOIL SRS) is designed to regenerate insulating mineral oil on a tank to tank basis. The system uses a special blend of Fuller’s Earth Filtration to remove contaminants such as acids, sludge and other decaying products while improving colour and oxidation stability. The ECoil System’s distinctive feature is the ability to reactivate used Fuller’s Earth; the reactivation process is fully automated and is carried out within the clay columns with the push of a button. The clay does not need to be removed from the system for a period of up to two years, or up to 300 regeneration cycles, and when finally removed as dry neutral sand it can be disposed of as a non-hazardous substance and used for building materials. The system is controlled by a programmable logic controller and monitored/interfaced by a computerized supervisory system which monitors and records all vital operating parameters. Primary use is to regenerate insulating mineral oil on a tank to tank basis to restore oil quality to levels that exceed the requirements for new oil. For customers seeking a complete oil treatment solution, the system can be offered with oil purification (Option P) to combine degassing, drying and particulate removal with the regeneration process. Standard Model SRS units are designed for interior/enclosed locations such as a transformer shop or warehouse, and for outdoor installations the system can be supplied in a customized 20 or 40ft Sea Freight Container (Option 20 or 40) or enclosed in an aluminum enclosure (Option AE) for a compact, lightweight installation.
