HG 1703

Overview

The HG 1703 is part of AMADA’s HG press brake series with models varying in capacity from 56 - 247 tons (US) and bend lengths from 55 to 169.3 inches. It is equipped with the AMNC 3i (intelligent, interactive, integrated) control and a 19" multi-touch LCD panel, providing high-speed and high-accuracy operation with simplified, smartphone-like input. Enhanced database network features provide improved communication between the CAM program and the AMNC 3i, resulting in less manual interaction and faster processing. Additional features include Bend Indicator technology for high-speed, high-precision operation, AMTS tooling for multi-stage bending, an Independent L-Axis (L-Shift) for a wide variety of part shapes, and standard emergency safety features: an emergency shut-off button on the controller panel, an interlock (OFF mode), stopped axis movement when the guard is opened, and a laser guard device. The HG 1703 is used to handle a full range of material thicknesses across bend lengths from 55 to 169.3 inches and capacities from 56 - 247 tons (US). It supports multi-stage bending with AMTS tooling and can produce a wide variety of part shapes using the Independent L-Axis (L-Shift). The AMNC 3i control with enhanced database networking enables faster processing and reduced manual interaction with CAM programs, and the 19" multi-touch panel allows simplified operation even for operators with limited experience.
