Overview

PW2C is a single point load cell for platform scales with a capacity range from 7.2 kg to 72 kg and suitability for platform sizes up to 380 mm x 380 mm (15'' x 15''). Five maximum capacities are available: 7.2 kg, 12 kg, 18 kg, 36 kg, 72 kg. Accuracy classes available include C3MR, C6, and C6MR. Minimum verification interval (Vmin) options are 0.5 g, 1 g, 2 g, 5 g, and 10 g, and the load cell provides a ratio of minimum verification interval (Y) of up to 14,400. Output signal is Passive (mV/V) and the product carries OIML and NTEP (US) certification. The measuring body is aluminum and the degree of protection is IP67. A 6-wire configuration is offered for improved signal stability and to enable cutting cables to length, and EMC performance is enhanced by a shielded connection cable. High torsional stiffness and off-center load compensation (OIML R76) are specified, and variants include cable lengths from 0.35 m to 6 m, an optional balanced signal output for parallel connection of multiple load cells, and adjustable overload stops with large nominal displacements. PW2C is described for static weighing and single-point platform applications, explicitly citing industrial, medical, and commercial uses such as shop-counter, conveyor, and platform scales.
