Overview

The Europlacer ii-P7 is a low maintenance, high performance SMT screen printer. It incorporates 1-micron linear encoders on every axis and a Dual Roving Camera, and is controlled by ii-PS software. Standard cycle time is 9 seconds; a software update in Velocity or Velocity+ mode offers cycle times of 7 or 5 seconds while maintaining the same level of accuracy. Print Speed is 5-250mm/s and full process repeatability is 20 \u00b5m @ 6 sigma 2Cpk. Max Board Size: 610mm (x) x 515mm (y); Min Board Size: 45mm (x) x 45mm (y); Max PCB Weight: 1Kg (2.2lb); PCB Thickness: 0.2mm (0.008) to 8mm (0.315); Paste dispense tube size: 600g. The ii-P7 includes a single pass under screen cleaner with a quick change cartridge, a PDu (Paste Dispense Unit) that can intelligently dispense paste from 600g tubes at the beginning or during a run, SmartCal2 which collects 88% more data in 90 seconds, a pneumatic printhead that adjusts pressure in real time, and S-Track label placement functionality. The ii-P7 is described as integrating seamlessly into both high-mix and high volume production environments and is also identified for prototyping and large print area work. It offers fast set-up and easy changeover for quick transitions between jobs. The printer provides functionalities for supplemental solder paste and adhesive dispensing via ADu+ and the PDu (with 600g tubes), and supports S-Track barcode label placement to enable comprehensive process traceability from the very start of the production process.
