SPM - Legacy is a synchronous motor protection and control product. Manufacturing for SPM has been discontinued and GE Vernova recommends the 869 with integrated SPM as an alternative. The SPM controls starting, synchronizing, and protection of collector-ring or brushless type synchronous motors and offers a Harsh Environment Conformal Coating option.
